It has been long rumored that Willie Nelson did in fact try to escape from the womb on April 20th instead of April 30th, 1933 in order to begin the 4:20 tradition, however, it just wasn't in the cards that day.
In addition to making his mark in the music and acting world he is also a great advocate for the legalization of marijuana. So, what better day than April 20th to give away his latest record. In actuality it isn't close to being new as it is a 17 track collection of songs written and recorded by Nelson between 1966-1970 entitled Naked Willie.
But, this is the first time it is being released so email us if you want a copy. (yes it is really that easy to win). FIRST 5 EMAILS GETS IT. Unfortunatly we cannot give away anything from his favorite passtime but we were able to compile a list of 100% true Willie Nelson facts.
Willie has been smoking pot so long he use to buy dime bags when they really cost a dime.
If you have an 1/8 of weed and Willie Nelson has an 1/8 of weed. Willie Nelson has more weed than you.
Willie Nelson can smoke a joint under water.
Willie Nelson doesn’t cough when he smokes coughing lets out a Willie Nelson.
One day when Willie Nelson found himself stranded in a tobacco field with a bag of weed but nothing to smoke it with, he improvised. You now know these as blunts. True story.
Willie Nelson taught Chuck Norris how to roll a joint.
The active ingredient in marijuanna is really called Willie Nelson.
Dallas Cowboys player Nate Newton was famously busted for trafficking 213 pounds of marijuana. Nate was on his way to Willies house.
One day all Willie had to smoke out of was an avacado and a snorkel... that day the bong was born.
Last week, in recognition of Sony's reissuing of Pearl Jam’s debut album Ten, we held a contest to win PJ's Legacy Edition album. This 2-disc set in a mini-LP style slipcase features six bonus tracks: "Brother," "Just A Girl," "State of Love and Trust," "Breath and a Scream," "2,000 Mile Blues" and "Evil Little Goat".
All you had to do was send us the baddest, most kick ass Ten-era, 90s-tastic internet video. The winning entry comes from Teddy V from Sunset Strip.
Pearl Jam's first ever show (10/22/1990)
"This was months before they took on the Mookie Blaylock moniker. I labeled the video tape as: 'Stone Gossard/Jeff Ament Post Love Bone Project - Off Ramp Cafe, Seattle WA 10/22/90' ... it was apparent during the show that this new "project" of theirs was certainly something special - during one of the songs you can hear me and Mike (the guy who's band played after them) talking and saying something to the effect of 'this is fucking beautiful...!'"
Sony is reissuing Pearl Jam’s debut album Ten on March 24th, in four new and expanded editions, and the Fro is psyched up. So much so that we're giving away the Legacy Edition of it. This 2-disc set in a mini-LP style slipcase features six bonus tracks: "Brother," "Just A Girl," "State of Love and Trust," "Breath and a Scream," "2,000 Mile Blues" and "Evil Little Goat".
ALL YOU HAVE TO DO.....is send us the baddest, most kick ass Ten-era, 90s-tastic internet video. Pearl Jam content is optional. It could be a music video, commercial, tv show intro....we really don't care. Just send it to us at

A Tribute to GUNS ‘N’ ROSES with APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION
Unlike many other tribute bands, AFD focuses explicitly on the audio and visual aspects of Guns N' Roses, and strives for duplication in both areas. These days, it's not enough to just sound like the band you're impersonating; patrons can get that act from countless cover bands. They come to see a show, and that includes the appearance, enthusiasm, and on-stage antics expected from a national act. Appetite for Destruction delivers that and more. Their catalog of Guns N' Roses songs is greater than that of any other in the country. They are able to perform over thirty-seven songs, which allows them to let the crowd often choose the set as they go along. All of the hit singles, rock radio staples, and GNR fan favorites are there. Not to be missed is the addition of keyboards, played by William "Axl" Shores himself, in the same vein as Guns N' Roses performed live. (You won't find that sixth "who's-that-guy-on-keyboards" member on stage playing piano on songs like November Rain and Estranged.) With the future of Axl Rose's upcoming GNR album uncertain at best, and the sucess of Slash's Velvet Revolver, audiences are craving for a Guns N' Roses fix all the more, and AFD aims to please.

If you don't know who Johnny Winter is...then damn you! The man played woodstock for Christs sake.
Johnny became a major blues star in the 60s and 70s, growing his reputation thru lots of work with Muddy Waters. I've seen this man perform recently and it was incredible. He's old, pale, tatted up, can barely stand, lanky as hell and seems to be seconds away from death, but the man can still finger pick and shred with the best of them.
If you want a chance to win tickets, all you have to do is email us at
