Nicolas Cage plays a rogue detective who is as devoted to his job as he is at scoring drugs -- while playing fast and loose with the law. He wields his badge as often as he wields his gun in order to get his way. In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina he becomes a high-functioning addict who is a deeply intuitive, fearless detective reigning over the beautiful ruins of New Orleans with authority and abandon. Complicating his tumultuous life is the prostitute he loves (played by Eva Mendes). Together they descend into their own world marked by desire, compulsion, and conscience.
A great trailer mash up of Resevoir Dogs and TMNT especially because the Turtles lips dont move so you can dub a Russian WWII movie over it and it would look good. Which actually isn't that bad an idea....
A really entertaining and well executed animated short about Dock Ellis' famous no-no game which he pitched "high as a georgia pie' .... now THAT, my friends is bad ass.
There's something about UK hip hop (excluding Dizzee Rascal) that rubs me the wrong way but this shitty song is set to everyones favorite violent viral videos which rubs me the right way... i'm confused.
With really progessive ska licks and lyrics like this gem, "Once i tried to run, once i tried to hide but jesus came and found me and he touched me down inside" Sonseed is like the Clash, only if the Clash were touched in the no no spot by their priests as children. Amen.
In Japan this is a typical roadside photo attraction for kids. You should see what's popular with teenagers, no matter how many silkworm showers you take you'll never be able to wash off that filth.
